Very tasty food, cheap prices, senior / children's plates, despite the high Crowd of visitors no long waiting times, nice, attentive wait staff, very recommendable; we will be back . Update December 26th, 2020: Pre-ordered food picked up this evening; was ready on time, still relatively warm after 8km transport, large portions, very tasty in taste, 5 stars again.

Very good food and a very friendly service

There were four of us for lunch and the food was excellent! I had the menu of the day for 8.50 euros, which consisted of a really tasty chickpea soup, deep-fried calamari with french fries, a large side salad and a small ice cream with raspberry sauce. The calamari weren't the usual rings in fat beer batter, but really of good quality, the salad crisp and fresh, the fries hot, and I didn't expect the dessert to be so good either. The service was exceptionally friendly. The price-performance ratio in the Duke of Nassau is great, and in Vallendar I only find the grapes better (which of course plays in a completely different league, also in terms of price). I would love to come back!

Really delicious food, great atmosphere and very friendly service

The food was really good! We both had the salad with strips of chicken breast and mushrooms, plus a white wine (Rhine, dry) and an exceptional Croatian blueberry wine. It was so good that we ate there again the next day. The ham and cheese salad was delicious too. Prices are not excessive, very nice service, cozy atmosphere :-)

We got our food within a very short time and the food was tasty, large portions ... The staff, one service very friendly, the other not!

Friendly and courteous service. Orders are served without long waiting times in accordance with Corona regulations. Food is fresh on the table hot and the slalate is crisp. The price level is not overpriced and the portions are not small. Recommended for me.

Great food, but the plate for 2 is so big that 4 people eat well.

Too bad. Unfortunately no longer to be compared with before. That is no longer the quality I know from there.

The food is delicious and the portions are sufficient. It's cozy and has a lot of space.

In the meantime I tried to eat there twice within the given opening times, but every time everything was swept empty and we had to go hungry again because our calls were ignored each time. I don't know how many hours you have to come before the local closes, but at 30-45 minutes you can expect to be able to walk again on an empty stomach. I will not try it a third time.

Good dining place, friendly and attentive service. I had the grill plate for 2 people. More than enough!! Delicious.

It was very good. We were eating here at Christmas. As well as in 2018. As is so often the case, there is a reduced offer of food at Christmas. However, there is something for everyone. There was no vegetarian dish on this reduced menu, on request I was able to choose one from the normal menu. We recommend. Friendly service.

The food was awesome. We loved it. I don't think the small card is bad at all, because it saves you from having to search for so long. The atmosphere could be improved, but that is not worth a star deduction. We'll be happy to come back on occasion.

Delicious the Croatian food is just delicious.

The Duke offers simple Croatian and German cuisine at a fair price. Very friendly staff and - especially outside - nice atmosphere leave a good overall impression. Definitely recommendable to satisfy your hunger in the evening!
